'Dissonance' was recorded (very loudly) as an improvised live piece with two overdubs in a garage with room recording. This was done to give a harsh, distant, scattered sound. The mixing and mastering for this track was intended to amplify these effects. It's frankly harsh-noise.

'Freedom' on the other hand, was planned much more, and has an opposite tone, originating from mid December 2015, there are three performances of the same song, different recordings, layered, and with an improvised lead track and improvised bass track. It was recorded at a home studio and arranged with the help and guidance of those mentioned in the credits.
